Freak Circus

Freak Circus are an alternative punk influenced four piece rock band from Weymouth, Dorset in the United Kingdom. They released an album "Freak Shall Inherit the Earth" on Pink Hedgehog Records in 2007 having spent 10 years predominantly playing their local circuit. During this time however they have made a number of appearances at the International Pop Overthrow Festival in Liverpool's Cavern Club,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=IPO Festival Artists )〕 performed support slots for Hamfatter and Mexicolas and appeared on the Men and Motors channel on Sky Television.
Tracks from the album 'Freaks Shall Inherit The Earth' have received airplay from amongst others BBC Southern Counties Radio, South Live (How to Laugh)〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=BBC Sussex and Surrey )
and BBC Radio Bristol, Introducing (Troubling Trainspotters). They have been airplayed on Wessex FM the local radio station for the Dorset area, including interviews with Maria Greenwood, and on 17 August were the feature band of the Wessex FM Unplugged program. They are also featured on the BBC Dorset Showcase Website,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=BBC Dorset )〕 and in February 2011 were featured in online Sound Surge magazine〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Sound Surge )

==Line Up==
They are renowned equally for their tight trousers and energetic stage antics as they are for their music. The line up has however stayed very stable over the 14 year period, with Marc Eyre (Vocals), Tony Bygrave (Guitar), Jim Eyre (Bass) and James Hope (drums) founding members. James Hope was replaced on drums by Adrian Payne in 2002 so that he could concentrate on other projects, and whilst Adrian Payne took the drum throne he also managed the day to day running of Freak Circus and the demanding gig schedule.
The line up stayed the same until 2011 when Wayne Mullan joined as the sixth active member of the band on bass guitar and sharing live performances with Jim Eyre, and in 2013 James Hope has since returned to share live performances on drums with Adrian Payne.
